P-51 Mustang

This plane is offered for sale by the OTOW R/C Flyers Donations Team.  It was donated by Scott Ellis, the son of Jim Ellis, a member of our club who passed away in January.   Thank you Scott!  It could make a nice war bird for someone who was able to put some time into fixing it up.

• P-51 Mustang – ~77″ wingspan
• Everything appears to be there (motor, servo’s, control systems, tanks, receiver, etc) . 
• A wing tip and aileron was damaged in a move and needs repair, but the rest of airframe looks solid.  
• Eventually, it will need to be recovered. 
• Big old 2-stroke glow motor with an on-board glow driver.  Turns over, but feels tight.
• Pneumatic retracts
